Sephora's Holiday Savings Event Is Coming — Here's What Beauty Insiders Need to Know

It's the most wonderful time of the year — for beauty lovers, that is. Sephora just announced that its Holiday Savings Event is officially kicking off on Friday, October 30. It's the perfect opportunity to treat yourself to some new goodies and get a head start on your gifting list for everyone who loves skin care, makeup, fragrance, and hair care as you are. Your future self will thank you because there's nothing more stressful than a last-minute shopping scramble that involves full prices and expedited (ahem, expensive) shipping. 

If this is your first Sephora Beauty Insider rodeo, don't worry. It's pretty straightforward. First off, it's totally free to become a Beauty Insider (so sign up pronto if you haven't already), but your Rouge, VIB, or Insider tier depends on how much you spend in a calendar year. 

If you have Rouge (meaning you spend at least $1,000 per year) or VIB status (at least $350 per year), lucky you — you get to shop the Holiday Savings Event earlier and longer than Insider members, and you get a slightly deeper discount. Sounds pretty sweet, no? 

Here's the complete timing breakdown of the sale:

• Rouge: 20 percent off from October 30 to November 9

• VIB: 15 percent off from November 3 to November 9

• Insider: 10 percent off from November 5 to November 9

Here's where you call up all of your friends to find out who has Rouge status and ask them for a little favor. Seriously, on October 30 and 31, Rouge members can bring a VIB or Insider member in-store as a guest, and they'll be able to cash in on the 20 percent discount as well. Can you say double, double, toil, and trouble?

Just keep a few important details in mind: Each tier level can redeem their discount as many times as they'd like during their allotted time period, so you can spread out your shopping and buy whatever catches your eye as you browse Sephora's vast inventory. However, The Ordinary, MAC Viva Glam, and Nudestix Anti-Bacterial Hand Sanitizer Gel are excluded from the discount, and you're also limited to one Dyson item and five Morphe items per transaction. As always, you can't combine this offer with any others.
