In six länder, sold: Lidl French calls back soft cheese
The supplier Jermi cheese factory GmbH will call back a Batch of soft cheese-product “of My cheese Brie de Nangis, a French soft cheese made with raw milk, approx. 100 g”. In a self-examination were detected in the affected product Vero Toxin producing E. coli.
The company said on Saturday. E. coli can be causes of diarrhea. In the case of certain groups of people (infants, small children, the elderly, and people with a weakened immune system) can occur in severe courses of the disease. Due to this health risk, customers should be aware of the recall and the affected product do not consume.
“My cheese Brie de Nangis” called back
The recalled batches, the date of minimum durability 19.01.2020 and lot number L29 513, or the date of minimum durability 20.01.2020 and lot numbers L29 513 and L29 514 have either.
The soft cheese was sold in accordance with the manufacturer’s details for Lidl stores in the Federal States of Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, Hesse, lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate. Lidl has responded to a message in its own already and the affected product from sale. The product can be returned in all Lidl stores. The purchase price will be refunded, without submission of receipts.
