Dieters at the world’s most exclusive weight-loss clinic are guaranteed to lose more than a few pounds on a regime costing a wallet-thinning £75,000 a week.
Billed as the most expensive slimming programme available, directors of The Vienna Recovery in Austria promise that each dieter will be attended to by more than 20 specialists in a five-star luxury wellness centre.
They claim the newly launched clinic’s innovative use of genetic testing, psychological assessment and hypnosis to devise tailor-made plans for each client has attracted royalty, celebrities, business leaders and elite sportspeople.
Experts spent two years developing the programme in partnership with the London and Zurich-based mental health centre Paracelsus Recovery.

Other specialists available at the exclusive clinic include a psychiatrist, geneticist, cardiologist, exercise therapist, sleep expert, acupuncturist, dermatologist, orthopaedic physician and a mindfulness trainer
They have now claimed ‘remarkable’ success with dieters reaching their target weights sooner than expected.
Unlike traditional clinics, The Vienna Recovery team of specialists work eight to 12 hours a day with a single client, who also receives 24-hour care from a live-in therapist, personal chef, on-call nurse and physiotherapist.
Other specialists include a psychiatrist, geneticist, cardiologist, exercise therapist, sleep expert, acupuncturist, dermatologist, orthopaedic physician and a mindfulness trainer.

Despite the astonishing cost, the centre in Vienna does not promise overnight results.
Stays of varying lengths are recommended, with clients encouraged to continue their weight-loss programme on returning home. Experts say therapy lasting three months will typically be necessary.
The centre also offers a ‘beginner’s week’ programme – called ‘First Week of a New Life’ – for £40,000. It includes health assessments and therapeutic recommendations for effective weight loss.
