This Is the Only Lipstick That's Graced My Lips This Year — Here's Why

When Victoria Beckham Beauty launched its Posh Lipstick range this fall, I knew right away that I'd love them — mainly because the brand touted them as moisture-rich and balmy, which I'm very much about because I have the driest lips. I decided to get the shade Pose, which is a mid-toned mauve, and since it arrived on my doorstep, it's one of the only lip products I've used. On top of that, it's really the only lipstick I've worn more than once this year.

The shade itself is stunning and perfect for my lip tone, but it's the formula of this lipstick that really takes it to the next level for me. Unlike some balmy lipsticks, it's not sticky or heavy on the lips, and it's not overly shiny, either, which I personally like. On the ingredient list, you'll find ultra-nourishing waxes and oils — including avocado, rosehip, and candelilla — that help to soften and protect the lips by locking in moisture. It also contains a "pomegranate jojoba complex" that aids in smoothing out those fine lines that almost everyone has on their mouth, myself included.

I also can't talk about this lipstick without mentioning how sleek the packaging is, because, well, I'd be lying if I said it didn't influence my purchase. It's just so chic, as are all of the brand's products, which makes it even more lovely to use. I also like how slim the bullet itself is, as it fits super comfortably in my hand, and doesn't feel too bulky in any of my pockets or bags.

Pose is my favorite color of the bunch, but there are eight other gorgeous shades to choose from — including browns, pinks, beiges, and even a fun cherry-red called Pop. Beckham designed each color to reflect a different time during her life when she was a pop star, so it was clearly a very meaningful process for her.

Even though I've been wearing a mask out, it's been nice putting this lipstick on as a way to simply make myself feel more polished and put together — even if I'm not leaving the house, which quite frankly, is usually the case. If you're looking for a great nude lipstick in a balmy-but-non-sticky formula, definitely consider treating yourself to this one. You can score it now for $38 on victoriabeckhambeauty.com.
