Our Favorite Drugstore Liquid Eye Shadows Just Delivered What We've Been Wanting For Ages

Eye shadow, bargain, and animal rights lovers are probably already familiar with Wet n Wild Mega Last Liquid Catsuit Liquid Eyeshadow, the $5 fave that goes on as smooth and tight as Halle Berry's Catwoman suit (and yes, it really does have "liquid" twice in the title.) It's a beloved liquid eye shadow that currently comes in eight shades that, especially for a brand as festive as Wet n Wild, are admittedly a little limited. But all that is about to change.

Earlier this week, Wet n Wild teased brand new Mega Last Liquid Catsuit Liquid Eyeshadow launches on Instagram, baiting us with the teaser caption "Prepare to create some eye-catching looks because we have something VERY exciting coming your way soon." They even shared swatches of the new shades… in black and white.

Needless to say, we needed to find out if these shades were for real and what they looked like out of greyscale. The brand confirmed to Allure that they'll be launching 13 new shades in three finishes: crème, shimmer, and metallic. Here's how a rep described the new shades: "high-impact liquid shadows [that] feature a lightweight silky formula while providing richly-pigmented color that stays put. This non-sticky, non-oily texture applies evenly and smoothly to give your lids the liquid lust you’ve been craving."

According to the brand, crème will be a "flawless matte finish," metallic will be a "super high-shine metallic finish," and shimmer will have a "high-shine, glistening" look. As always, Wet n Wild products are cruelty-free. Catsuit Liquid Eyeshadow is also gluten-free and fragrance-free.

The brand can't confirm an unofficial launch date just yet, but they've told Allure to expect the new shades to pop up at CVS and on wetnwildbeauty.com sometime in mid-October.
