City of Berlin is planning to Corona hospital for 1000 patients
More than 10,000 are infected, according to the in the US city of Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins University now with the Coronavirus. The current measures in the Federal Republic of Germany will mainly serve to keep the number of infected individuals over a period of time low. It is important to ensure a medical care and to avoid conditions such as in Italy. The city of Berlin has announced a special Corona-clinic at the Fairgrounds to set up. This measure, however, is intended as a Supplement to, and discharge for the existing emergency clinics, said Berlin health Senator Dielk Kalayci (SPD).
The hospital is to be built in cooperation with forces of the Bundeswehr, such as Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg reported. The Senate also decided that hospitals need to postpone scheduled operations, in order to create capacity for intensive medical care. According to the latest Figures of the Senate, currently 383 people in the capital are infected with the Coronavrius.
