The $5 Kmart Hack That Transformed This Fridge
Let’s be honest, between dinner-cooking, food-prepping and snack-getting, we spend plenty of time staring at the fridge. That’s why we’re so obsessed with this rose-gold makeover of our favourite appliance.
A Tamworth resident is behind a clever Kmart hack that transformed a second-hand fridge.
The genius hack was created when Gypsy Hughes bought an old fridge at a garage sale and decided to give it a makeover.
She achieved the stunning rose-gold look using a few rolls of copper adhesive film and tape from Kmart.
Gypsy explains that she lined up the adhesive vinyl with the top of the fridge, and peeled it down bit-by-bit. She used her hands and a keycard to press the vinyl from the middle and outwards, as she found that a ruler scratched.
