At this point, Emily Ratajkowski is equally as well known for her luscious brunette locks as she is her rockin’ bod (… dem abs ?). Soooo, imagine our shock when we heard that she’d taken the plunge and dyed her signature softly-tousled tresses sandy blonde.
On Tuesday, the 29-year-old model and actress debuted her dramatic new ‘do with her 26.6 million Instagram followers – which, by the way was part of a paid partnership with beauty brand Kerastase.

“BLONDE,” she captioned the post, adding “I did it” via Instagram stories.
“Our muse @emrata went blonde and we can’t get enough of it,” Kerastase shared on its own Instagram account. “Thank you, Emily, for the trust! Co-creating this transformation with you was fun, we are here to care for your blonde.”
Emily is used to changing up her locks thanks to wigs and extensions, although she’s never dabbled with dye before. She’s cut bangs, a lob and even tried out a faux pixie cut. This time, though, the transformation isn’t temporary.
“I am excited and proud to be chosen as a Kérastase ambassador,” she wrote on Insta back in 2018. “I consider my hair as the reflection of my inner strength. It’s not an ornament but a way to express myself. I think that’s true for all women. There’s such an empowering femininity to hair. It allows women to define who they want to be. That’s why they deserve the best care.”
