As of yesterday, staff in England’s registered care homes must have had both jabs to stay in their jobs, unless they are medically exempt.
But the manager reported that the “no jab, no job” rule means her remaining staff are being forced to work extra hours due to new vacancies.
On Good Morning Britain, she pleaded: “We’re tired, we’re worn out – give us a break Boris.”
NHS England figures show more than 56,000 staff in care homes had not been recorded as having received both doses as of November 7.
