Bride branded ‘monster’ for ‘selfish’ demands made to groom and guests
A disgruntled wedding guest has spilled the beans on a ‘monster’ bride who asked her friends and family to bring their own food to the wedding.
But apparently guests got off lightly – if her alleged treatment of the groom is anything to go by.
The anonymous guest revealed all about the bridezilla in a Facebook group, according to Daily Mail Australia .
She apparently wrote: "She lies constantly about EVERYTHING. A more selfish and demanding brat of a female I have never encountered,"
"She demanded the groom change his [stag] party plans, insisting he and his groomsmen accompany "the girls" on the hen weekend, and take her EIGHT YEAR OLD brother with them," she continued.
"[This was] to ensure the groom doesn’t meet any other girls while out and about."
The guest claims the bride also told her future husband to change his best man, saying he should have a single man from a rich family so she could pair him off with her single maid of honour.
She reeled off a list of other outrageous demands the bride had made:
- told the groom there was no money for his wedding boots but had three Victoria’s Secret packages arrive later that week
-
cancelled reception booze because she couldn’t afford a bartender
-
cancelled reception catering and asked people to provide food
- set date and location for a bridal shower she expected other people to host – then demanded control over all aspects of it
- requested cash gifts at bridal shower to cover the cost of alcohol at the wedding
- told the groom’s family they weren’t part of the bridal party so there’s "no need for them to be involved in the wedding"
Shocked Facebook friends couldn’t believe the list of demands.
They commented to say the groom should ‘pack up his things’ and run away, according to the Mail.
